Dark Room Equipment
People searching the internet for information regarding Darkrooms often type in “Dark room,” and to accommodate this search query, I have titled this category as such. However, the term used by photographers is only one word, and so I will use it in that way throughout the rest of this information.
The amount of equipment you need to construct a black and white darkroom can seem staggering, but much of it is inexpensive, and often when searching on the internet for people selling their equipment in places like craigslist, you will find package deals that include just about everything you need. Photographers are abandoning their black and white darkrooms in favor of their new virtual darkrooms on the computer and offer their equipment for very reasonable prices. Also, many of the items on this list are items you might already have around the house, such as a can of compressed air, or a thermometer, or a cylinder for measuring chemicals.
