Learning Photography is a place to learn tips and tools of film photography, the kind of film photography that you can practice as an artist in your own home or in a professional lab or both. The original idea for this site was describing the process of setting up and maintaining your own black and white darkroom at home, and all that information is still here under The Darkroom, but pages like Camera Basics can be applied to newer technology, like Digital SLRs — because at a certain level, a camera is a camera, and let’s learn how to use them to make better photographs!
